~frog rules~

hygeine

dont touch em with your bare hands! hands got oils and germs and stuff. frogs absorb everything from their skin so just don't. it would be like if you licked the surfaces u walked on. not yum! also same about making sure their tank is rlly clean bc they like to pee everywhere (im jealous) and then its not good for them to sit in their dried pee and stuff.
so put on clean gloves if ur gonna touch em. or wash ur hands really good but not with scented soap or anything like that.

you gotta pick out their poop every day! cause its icky and smells bad. smells like a swamp. unless you have a bioactive terrarium which is great and 10000% i recommend this. when u have bioactive its means theres rolypoly's (isopods) and springtails and stuff that eat things liike poop and keep it extra clean for froggy (and u). then you only have to clean the glass tank sides off!

also u probly wanna kiss em if ur like me. well dont. sadly they can have bacterias u cant see on their beautiful shiny skin and then if u kiss them it goes on ur lips and then into ur body and u can get salmenalla so just dont! :-( also it mite be scary for forg if u put ur big ole lips real close to their small body

baby/new frogs

when u first get ur frogs or theyre still babies, its good to keep them in a rly basic tank that has stuff thats easy to wash (plastic plants & etc). you should take everything out of the tank n wash it all like once every week or 2 with a clear ecofriendly soap.
put paper towels and ceramic tiles down for the floor. paper towels u can change out easily and you can rinse off the tiles.
this is also important bc u need to look at their poops. u can tell animals health by looking at what comes out their butt. gross but tru. you need to monitor their poops and stuff for at least 3 months (its call "quarantining") before you move themn into something like a bioactive tank. (maybe someday i will write more about doing bioactive tanks)

food n water

dubia roaches
banded crickets or brown/house crickets
only sometimes mealworm (frog digestion dont like the chitin very much)

you gotta feed ur bugs really good. cause what they eat is what ur frog is gettin. make sure they always have fresh clean vegetables (carrots,collard & turnip greens, are good) and water (use the water crystals that expand instead of just straight up water bc bugs r dumb and theyll drowned) also make sure u feed them nice supplements like repashy brand has all kinds of food for bugs. also if u can find adult bearded dragon pellets and then powder them up, that's rly good healthy stuff for ur buggos.

also u gotta make sure to use calcium and supplement dust on the bugs b4 u feed them to ur forgs. im not going to go into more detail abnt supplements n stuff yet but ill get around 2 it. repashy cal + is a good one tho

frogs like to take long baths and also pee in their bath water. can u blame them. so every day u need to take their nice big water bowl that's only shallow water just bc theyre frogs dont mean they like to have deep water and actually they are not real good swimmers so make sure the water bowl isnt 2 full and then u just empty and wash and refill it every day.
make sure u put a water conditioner into their water. like reptisafe. i fill an old water jug with treated water and just keep it by the frog tank 2 make it easyer
